Welcoming Additional Support Staff

At Eis Laasois we strive for excellence. We are extremely proud of our staff yet are constantly looking to broaden our horizon by adding more staff to support our employees, parents and children.

Below are the support staff that were hired for the 2024-2025 school year:

 

·         Angela Dadon, MA, CCC-SLP, TSHH. Angela is not new to Eis Laasois at all! She is a beloved speech therapist, feeding specialist and discipline head who has been with Eis Laasois for more than 30 years. Angela recently moved out of state, consequently giving up her full-time position. She will now be consulting in both locations bringing her vast experience and significant knowledge in her field.

 

·         Elizabeth A. Rosenzweig, PhD CCC-SLP LSLS Cert. AVT. Elizabeth was hired as a consultant in AVT; Auditory Verbal Training, working primarily with our staff to guide and train staff working with children that are deaf or hard of hearing. Elizabeth has an impressive bio, which includes teaching in prominent colleges such as Columbia University, Yeshiva University and Vanderbilt College. Additionally, Elizabeth is the founder of www.AuditoryVerbalTherapy.net, a private practice providing AVT to families around the world via teletherapy.

·        Chaya Winkler, LCSW. Chaya will serve as our on-staff social worker in both the Williamsburg and Boro Park locations. With her vast experience and knowledge, Chaya will guide the staff and parents on how to be the most effective with our students from a mental health perspective.

·         Mary Jean Dyczko, MA, CCC-SLP, TSHH, APT. Mary  Jean is an Augmentative Communication/Assistive Technology Specialist with vast experience in this field. Mary Jean is an adjunct professor in Touro, Queens and Brooklyn Colleges where she teaches an Augmentative and Alternative Communication course to a new generation of Speech Therapists. Mary will be the AAC consultant in both the Williamsburg and Boro Park Location where she will guide and train our staff on an ongoing basis.  

·         Mark Surabian has provided assistive and instructional technology support and training for over 37 years. Mark teaches comprehensive courses on Assistive Technology (AT) for NYU’s Doctoral Program in Occupational Therapy and for the graduate schools of Education at Bank Street College and St. Joseph’s University of Brooklyn, and previously for Pace University and Brooklyn College. He is also the founder of ATHelp.org & ATTrain.org, two organizations that provide assistive technology support for free to anyone and any group across the globe. Mark will be the AAC consultant for the Williamsburg, School Age program.
